I enjoy being on Twitter, the great social network that allows me to keep in touch with friends and fellow tweeters for purposes like sharing Fibromyalgia and CFS information on Fibro Fog. Plus, I can wish my merry little band a Wonderful Wednesday (with a #WW before friends’ names.) Unfortunately… today almost turned out to be Tenuous Thursday for me instead.

I’ll fess up and tell you why…

You see I was just a tad foggy-brained this morning when I woke up. I slept a couple hours extra and slept (as they call it) hard. It’s nice to get good sleep, but if you’re just getting used to sleeping better and longer, it may seem a little strange at first. I’m still adjusting.

Plus, I was out in the cold wind a bunch yesterday attending my writers group meeting and running Christmas errands. I believe the cold and wind caused my nose to be boggy and stop up a bit. I’m not breathing well today. Now, I don’t know if Fibro fog is adding to my less-than-alert brain cells -or not- but anything is possible. Mostly likely, my morning symptoms were simply from feeling less than fully awake while trying to breath through a cramped nose. (Not enough oxygen? Maybe.)

Anyone who has a blog probably can relate to the rest of this story. What I did to turn Wonderful Wednesday into Tenuous Thursday was believing that today is Thursday! You see I had a blog post that I wanted out today. NOW. TODAY. I had it scheduled (for Thursday) in the calendear, but it would not post. Why? What was the problem? I turned my WordPress blog every way from Sunday. I could not get the *X((@!!%R#% thing to post. I knew it was probably me making an error, but what could it be??

Finally, finally, finally… I realized the problem. Indeed the blog post was set to go live on Thursday and today is only Wednesday. So here’s my “Wonderful Wednesday” wish to anyone who is living in Thursday. I’m right there with you

No matter what you’re dealing with, find a reason to smile today and do it now while you still know what day of the week it is! Laughing at yourself is wonderful medicine especially on Wonderful Wednesday #WW.

Thanks, Cinda Crawford
