healing

heavens-sea-turquoiseEven though I work in the healing business of helping people heal, I shy away from calling myself a healer. I believe that God is the ultimate healer. You and I are capable of little without His help.

Still, every once in awhile, people will tell me that what I do is nothing short of incredible. I guess that’s because SCH is so different and the process works well.

Decide for yourself with the following 3 truisms, plus something I’ve discovered… the fact that I’m not the only person who thinks this way or is saying these things:

cloveWhen we talk about holistic healing, looking at examples of its use help us understand this important health concept and what it can mean to someone suffering with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (a.k.a. ME/CFS) and Fibromyalgia FMS).

Today, we’ll also use you in this example. By the very fact that you’re visiting this blog and website, you probably have either Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or both illnesses. (Note: use the terms CFS and ME/CFS interchangeably here.) And to add even more punch to our illustration, today you have 10 symptoms, one of which is an under-performing Immune System. It has allowed a terrible case of broncitis to get a foothold. You’re SICK!

Instead of your taking a prescription drug to blast the broncitis and maybe even affect some of your other symptoms, you choose to use holistic healing treatment approaches. (Always consult your doctor before making a decision like this.) By taking this alternate health route of holistic healing, you’re seeking to have a better chance at long term health success which results in:

A) Fewer recurring and lingering Immune System problems like broncitis and those flu-ish, feel-bad-all-over symptoms
B) Fewer problems with Candida and yeast infections that often occur after taking a round of broad spectrum antitiotics. If you’ve taken multiples antibiotics within a six months period, you have an above-average chance of suffering with a stubborn case of Candida. Yeast infections are no fun, can be very difficult to get rid of and can cause a host of symptoms. Learn how to fight Candida with Life-5.

Candida is being widely discussed on many fronts, some writers even suggesting that it is a cause of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome! Whether it is or not, you can preempt Candida before it occurs by discontinuing the use of antibiotics and other prescription drugs and by starting to use acidophilus-type products after a course of antibiotics. The best product I know of is Life-5.

C) Less toxin buildup, so therefore fewer toxins for your body to get rid of -and-
D) Fewer or no drug side effect problems. (By foregoing use of one more powerful prescription drug, you won’t experience that drug cross reacting with something else already in your system.)

You definitely want fewer symptoms, not more.

You want fewer infections and to start feeling better.

Does this sound too wild to be possible?

Not at all.

Holistic healing is a viable option to consider.

By taking a more natural approach to healthcare with holistic healing, you can enjoy the results of calmer, quieter, less obtrusive healing alternatives. Plus, your body might really appreciate it because it won’t constantly undergo the energetic insults of prescriptions drugs that shock the body.

Some of your best holistic healing and healthcare options include the following:

If you’re sick all over and suffering with Fibromyalgia (Fibro or FMS) and/or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS or ME/CFS), you’re not suffering in just one, easy-to-point-to, physical spot or location.

A. In fact, your entire body is involved. You feel sick all over, you’re exhausted and you probably hurt in so many places that you can’t point to them all. How can that be?

If I’m guessing right, you’re worrying that something major has gone haywire in your body and you may this sick… indefinitely!

B. And what is the absolute pits, you’re suffering with different types of multiple symptoms. They come and go at will, plus they show up at the most inconvenient times. Some of them are so odd that you can’t describe them well to your doctor, friends or family.

Your body acts confused.

Yes, everything about your health seems off-track. The most critical issue is how to successfully treat your symptoms and get you back to normal. Consider the following examples:

Those people who know me know that I think it is ultimately a major task… this keeping the hope of healing alive in our hearts. We must do it. Our health depends on us getting this right and not giving in to the temptation of spending most of our time being negative or feeling terminally sorry for ourselves.

We are the ones who benefit from renewed bodies that once again remember how to be healthy, from minds that function clearly and wisely for the most part, and for spirits that are excited about the prospects of living a life closer to the Creator. Oh, to become a thrill seeker!

Yes, you and I do see the wisdom of keeping hope of healing alive in our hearts. However, the huge questions remain about how to do it.

How do we stay positive?
What is there to stay positive about?

melissa-yl-essential-oilYesterday when we talked about allergies, sinus infections and the flu, I gave you lots of information, plus the names of several health-related products that you could consider using to ward off bacterial or viral infections: Thieves, Clove oil and Oregano oil. They are all Young Living brand essential oils.

I rely on this brand of oils and rarely go a day without using them as a part of my self-healthcare approach. The fact that essential oils have been around since the holy days really appeals to me and helps to keep me centered with a more natural, basic approach to staying healthy.

Another way to find information outside of this website is to look inside a fantastic book called Essential Oils Desk Reference, 4th edition by Essential Science Publishing. This morning I researched how to bolster the immune system and found 6 additional references. They are listed below.

These essential oils are “highly antibacterial and contain immune supportive properties, as documented by many researachers, such as Daniel Penoel, MD and Pierre Franchomme.”

a) Ravensara
b) Melissa
c) Mountain savory
d) Cistus
e) Hyssop (and)
f) Frankincense

Feel free to research these oils at my Young Living website. See more products not visible onscreen by clicking the Product Line tab in the left margin. Then read and get informed about how to achieve better quality health. Surely the specific product information will help you decide if taking pre-emptive measures sounds like your next best step forward to your goal.

Personally, I believe it’s smart to empower and safeguard my immune system. When I use oils to accomplish this goal, I only use high quality ones from Young Living.

While you’re there, check out another immune system enhancing product, ImmuPro with Ningxia wolfberry polysaccharides. There have been so many reports about the power of using Ningxia wolfberry for your good health. Tomorrow here on the blog, I’ll have more info.

Personally I believe it’s wise to take preventative action before you or someone you love gets sick… or gets sick again. Possibly one of these great “healing” products will assist you in making that intention your new health reality. Rarely, when I do get ill, I use essential oils after-the-fact. They support my body’s and immune system’s effort at recovery. :-)

If you have any questions about the products or you’re thinking of getting into a health-related business and want to know more about Young Living, email me. I’ll get right back to you. Then we can share phone numbers and talk more.

Universal Disclaimer: I am not a doctor; I am an alternative health practitioner. Very simply, I have found ways that help me fight off infections and help to keep me healthy. My family, friends and clients use them, too. I hope some of the information I’ve shared will help you. Even so, you should consult with your physician about all health matters.

I hope you have a wonderfully healthy day. Today when I hit the “publish” button on the blog, I will take the time to annoint myself with Frankincense essential oil, drink 8 ounces of pure, clean water and go outside for a meditative walk in the woods.

Sending you all my best, Cinda Crawford

What would it mean if someone told you that she was getting healthy with Fibromyalgia? Does it mean that she’s getting really, really well and no longer has symptoms? Or just that she’s found some ways to cut down on her symptoms and is feeling a tiny bit better?

Is this level of health even possible for someone suffering with Fibromyalgia? Surely the title phrase implies that getting healthy is an attainable goal. So I ask you, how does anyone feel good enough to say he or she has gotten over this confounded illness!??!

The reality is there are people who will tell you that they no longer have Fibromyalgia. Up until now, there weren’t that many of them or at least we didn’t hear about them. And the ones who did proclaim it usually found a level of healing through vitamins or supplements of some kind, which required a constant investment of money and time– possibly over a long period of time.

And the other people? The ones who improved, but you don’t know how they did it because they kind of faded away into the sunset… back into life and back into the workforce, never to be heard of again? How did they improve their health so much? How did they feel well enough to resume anything approaching a normal life?

Well, here are 2 answers, 4 tips, plus a video which might help:

3926-000080Whether you experience small
moments of awareness, small changes, small healings or a whopping, wham-doozie-sized personal change that allows you to experience more profound and complete healing, change is the operative action word when it comes to causing a major turnaround in your health situation.

(Mindfulness can help you arrive at the point where change is possible because mindfulness encourages new awareness levels.)

You and I undergo “change” all the time. That why it is very possible for you to become a changed person for the better.

Your job from here on out, if you choose to accept it, is to make sure that the changes that you make positively affect your life.

bubblesinapondwithwhiteflowerAs you heal, as you become a more aware person, as you become more receptive to a renewed state of health, and as you’re practicing more and more mindfulness, you will notice fantastic changes taking place in your body, mind and spirit as real healing.

This information often shows up as tiny “awareness” spurts, like bubbles floating to the surface of a pond. Or you may sense them more as giant leaps forward, truly wowing you with some new found revelation. Either progression can be exciting, but it’s important to notice and respect each one.

olderwomanbookwhiterobeTo begin our discussion and help us figure out how to promote our healing through the practice of mindfulness, let’s cheat a little and look at the flip side of the coin first: Just how bad is it to remain unaware of what’s really going on in your body -and- be unhealthy and chronically sick?

Well, these are important issues. On the surface, this shouldn’t be impossible because your body is supposed to know how to heal itself. BUT, if it won’t (or can’t) cooperate and do this, thus enabling you to be healthy and balanced, if it can’t right itself, then something is seriously wrong with one of more parts of you!

Essentially, some major stressor is impairing your health and blocking your recovery. (You can think bacteria, virus, your insufferable boss, anyone or anything that is seriously impairing your physical safety, mental health, emotional happiness or spiritual security of who you are in this world.) The plain fact is, at this moment in time, your body can’t figure out how to be healthy.

So, how do you promote your own healing?

Is mindfulness something that you can do to help your body heal?

youngwomaneyesclosedincontemplationIf you’ve ever heard of the old phrase, that something is too loud and you can’t hear yourself think, then you have the idea behind one of the values of solitude in the practice of mindfulness, and maybe even a bit about how meditating can help if you suffer with Fibromyalgia.

If something is too loud, your inner critic (that decides what’s best for you) may get overwhelmed and not be able to make itself known above the noise. Unless you’re sensitive to what is going on, you might ignore the warning signs and miss a valuable level of awareness.

I’m convinced that most chronically ill people quit paying attention to themselves.

By purposefully paying attention to a warning sign, you have a chance to do something about the situation and take measures to improve… (See A through D.)

I bet I know what you’re thinking when you read this title, Healing Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: “There is no cure for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome… yet.” Today I want you to expand your mind beyond this widely held belief. Instead of cure, think more in terms of getting well and healing.

Cure is not the right word to use… not now. Cure is a purely traditional medicine, westernized term. It’s used solely by medical doctors, researchers and scientists. To date, they have not come up with a “cure” for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

In integrative, alternative, mind/body/spirit medicine, the two terms getting well and healing (or healed) are used when someone’s health status gets better and his or her body is on the mend. The terms imply a significant improvement in an otherwise sick person’s level of health.

And, if you’re anything like me when my health was so bad with Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome plus…, I really didn’t care what anyone called anything. The only thing that I knew was that I wanted to get well.

So when I began to feel better and my life re-surfaced from the ash heap, everything in my world brightened overnight. Finally, I felt better. I was free of nagging, hanging-on-type health problems. I was finally healthy again!!

That why I made you this 9-minute video today. Really listen to what I’m saying about how you could be a candidate for healing what’s wrong with you. Then contact me with your questions about how to work directly with me and get Sacred Cellular Healing work -or- how to set up a “free” 15 minute telephone consult soon. We can discuss:

  • what’s going on with you and your illness,
  • the logistics of meeting in person or of talking on the telephone for our consultations over a period of weeks, (either method works as well as the other)
  • the cost involved, and finally
  • how you might be able to feel better, too. How you might experience your own healing. Now, this is already sounding like a plan! :-)

Wishing you health and happiness,

If you have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, if you know someone who suffers with it or if you’re simply curious about the illness, I highly encourage you to take 4 minutes out of your day to watch this video. The CFIDS Association of America has put this video together and it is really touching. (Then I invite you to explore this website for more information that might help you even further.)

I believe that everyone of us who currently has or has had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome can relate to the CFIDS Association’s message. We have felt the pain, endured the symptoms and desperately wanted the hope that such a message brings. What’s even more interesting to me is that the CFIDS Association believes that it’s not only their duty to educate people, but to offer them real hope of solving the problem!

So I’m choosing to offer that hope and help, too, here at the Health Matters Show about how you might heal from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. Don’t leave until you read about Sacred Cellular Healing.

Sacred Cellular Healing is a tool that I encourage you to investigate and use.

You can take advantage of it through me.

You see I used to be sick, but I’m not any longer. I’m well now! In my heart I believe that most people can improve their health through using various techniques and methodologies. Sacred Cellular Healing is a type of mind, body, spirit energy healing. When it works for folks, it works very well. It works efficiently, all the way down to the cellular level.

Have a wonderful day filled with healing and health!

butterly-man-emerging-frm-cocoonAll this week we’ve been looking at your major questions about healing and what is stopping you from getting well from Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. More specifically, the questions today are aimed at the end of the process.

*I would really appreciate it if you would read them and comment below. Your thoughts mean the world to me. Your participation keeps me going better than “super” vitamins! :-)

  • 1: What ideas or concepts about “healing” would you like to explore and learn more about?
  • 2: What healing technique would you like to try in the future, particularly if it provided you with a better-than-average chance to improve your health -or- maybe even get really well?
  • 3: What don’t you know about this specific technique that would help you make up your mind about whether to try it or not?

It’s a scary venture to walk the solitary path of “being sick” and know that you’re virtually alone. No one wants to suffer by himself or herself. However, to get to the place where you can reclaim your health, you must walk it exactly that way… alone. Maybe you hobble, maybe you crawl, but thankfully the struggle usually makes you stronger and wiser… .

When it comes to getting better or healing, many people are not feeling better because, like you, they continue to suffer with symptoms of Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Why? The answer(s) may not be readily apparent, but I encourage you not to let that stop you. Let’s continue to look at the issues anyway… until we find out what we need to know.

If you’ve had either of these illnesses for even a little while, you’re probably frustrated already. There are more questions than answers, plus the important questions don’t seem to have reasonable answers.

If you’ve been ill for an even longer period of time, you’re tired of waiting for someone or some thing to help you. What you want are valid answers to your questions -right now- because moments, days, months and years of your life are slipping away into oblivion. Your life is slipping right past you, without fanfare and, seemingly, without you being able to stop it.

So let’s determine what your questions are and get them answered. Then you can begin to do what is necessary to instigate a positive process for change in your life and health circumstances.

You’re sick and tired of feeling sick and tired!

cindaheadshotylWe’ve been talking about brain fog and how it affects the lives of those who suffer with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. On the blog and podcast today, I’m featuring Dr. Lawrence Wilson, who states that brain fog by itself is a very common condition. He lists such causes as physical, biochemical, emotional and spiritual.

Then he gets more specific with the following causes:

1: Toxic levels of metals and chemicals affecting the brain
2: Bowel toxicity
3: Electromagnetic toxicity
4: Adrenal (gland) burnout

I find the term adrenal burnout to be a really interesting phrase. Look at the words: adrenal, burnout. That’s really expressive because that’s what it feels like! You’re burned up, used, spent. One form of this type of burnout is found in an HPA (hypothalamus pituitary adrenal axis) imbalance. It’s a common problem for people with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. As well as the term adrenal burnout, you often hear the term adrenal fatigue, too. If you have symptoms of adrenal fatigue and seek out the right type of alternative health consultant, like me, your condition may be able to be corrected and then balance restored.

TIP: One thing you can do to improve your health right now right now is to choose to live a more conscious and mindful lifestyle -and- maintain a relaxed atmosphere around you.

If you’re sick, suffering and feeling a bit desperate, this can be difficult to achieve because you’re already struggling to keep a whole lot of proverbial plates in the air. You can’t do any more! Think of the old frantic juggler with an impossible task of attempting to spin ten or fifteen plates at one time. Down goes a plate here… a plate there. Soon he ends up with a mess on the floor.

Carrying this comparison one step further, let’s say that that juggler is you. You’re juggling work, home family, symptoms, money challenges, doctors, insurance and more. That essentially translates such that you are terribly sick and have no idea about which way to turn to get better. You’re suffering from burn out and you can’t think through or develop a plan to live, much less a plan to get well and heal from Fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome without some specifically targeted help!
