Even if you suffer with Fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, make 3 Health Wishes that will help you keep a positive outlook on your health.

If you’ve ever been really ill with a tough chronic illness like Fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, you may feel that getting healthy and on the plus side of your health may be an impossible task. Today, I’m encouraging you not to think like that. Check out the following health article and health wishes.

These particular illnesses can be darned hard to live with. You may feel miserable and, at times, despondent and in need of comfort and inspiration. If so, see my 3 Concepts Health Article , recently re-published.

Also, I have 3 health wishes that I bet you can relate to:

#1: I want to decide who I want to be and then go accomplish that goal. You and I may be sick and hurting at times, but that doesn’t have to be the sum total of who we are. We surely are more! As human beings, we’re capable of a depth and richness of life that only comes when we seek it out and are aware that it exists. So… is there more to this wish? I WISH: To make good decisions about who I am, who I want to be and what I want to accomplish.

#2: May I never ever live my life in such a frumpy and irritable way that no one wants to be around me. I strive to always be positive and happy, but of course, that’s not humanly possible and I certainly don’t achieve it. I WISH: To choose to look at life on the plus side and that includes my health.

#3: May I adopt a “healthy” attitude and live in gratitude of the life that I have. That attitude will keep me at the feet of God and there is no healthier place to be. I WISH: To live a life pleasing to Him.

I encourage you to mark this day with 3 wishes of your own. Get out a piece of paper and pen and make some notes. Choose to never ever “willingly” let Fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome control you again. No matter what!

I will keep a positive attitude because it promotes my healthy mind, body and spirit!

Learn how illness often comes with challenges of motivation and action. Discover how they intersect with the "king" component- your attitude about getting healthy.

The title of my church’s Sunday School lesson today was The Right Motivation. As I sat in class and listened, my mind wandered thinking about the health motivations that drive you and I. Some motivations are strong and inspire us to take bold, powerful actions. Others can be negative, damaging and produce bad health consequences.

You’re thinking…

I feel like a dead dog. How can I feel motivated to do anything about getting healthy? How can I risk feeling any worse?

Let’s look at some answers:

If your actions are indicative of someone leading a healthy lifestyle, then they’re positive and your health will benefit. You begin to feel better.

If you persist with old habits that are not health-affirming, they will add to your health problems, and this time they will be bad and illness-promoting. You will continue to feel badly and your health may regress.

If your attitude and habits worsen and you develop new symptoms (like having a poor attitude about the possibility of healing at all!), under most circumstances your health will keep going downhill further and further. Then, you have a very serious situation on your hands!

QUITE OFTEN… PEOPLE WHO STAY SICK
HAVE A LOUSY ATTITUDE!

I know that’s a bold statement. It is meant to shock you. Please realize that this treatise has a Part 2 and is incomplete. I invite you to come back to the Health Matters Show next Sunday to find out what I really mean about the joining of attitude, motivation and action.

I promise that you’ll receive more information about getting healthier and what you can do to help yourself. (To be certain that you don’t miss next Sunday’s post, sign up to “Get New Post Alerts” via our RSS feed. The clickable link is in the far right hand column.)

REMEMBER: Attitude is king, but it is closely aligned with motivation and action.

You’re welcomed to leave your comments below. Thanks,

Catch two answers, four tips and a video about getting healthy with Fibromyalgia on the Health Matters Show with Cinda Crawford.

What would it mean if someone told you that she was getting healthy with Fibromyalgia? Does it mean that she’s getting really, really well and no longer has symptoms? Or just that she’s found some ways to cut down on her symptoms and is feeling a tiny bit better?

Is this level of health even possible for someone suffering with Fibromyalgia? Surely the title phrase implies that getting healthy is an attainable goal. So I ask you, how does anyone feel good enough to say he or she has gotten over this confounded illness!??!

The reality is there are people who will tell you that they no longer have Fibromyalgia. Up until now, there weren’t that many of them or at least we didn’t hear about them. And the ones who did proclaim it usually found a level of healing through vitamins or supplements of some kind, which required a constant investment of money and time– possibly over a long period of time.

And the other people? The ones who improved, but you don’t know how they did it because they kind of faded away into the sunset… back into life and back into the workforce, never to be heard of again? How did they improve their health so much? How did they feel well enough to resume anything approaching a normal life?

Well, here are 2 answers, 4 tips, plus a video which might help:

a) Some people manage their life and symptoms well enough to survive by taking prescription drugs. Example: Lyrica, which is made by Pfizer, a major drug corporation and the source of the video below. (Take note of the 4 tips listed there.)

Note: taking a drug as a “solution” is normally longterm at best and costly at worst, because Lyrica does not cure Fibromyalgia. It simply helps to alleviate the symptoms as long as you take the drug. As far as I know, it makes no claim to “cure” Fibromyalgia.

b) The rest of the people use alternative health methods to improve, feel better and return to normal living. (I’ll be bringing you more about this soon, but for now, you’re welcomed to watch a second, short video here. It explains how I got so much better because of Sacred Cellular Healing. (Today this video resides on the right side of the page, but I can’t guarantee you how long it will sit here. I change the website all the time! So, watch it today before you leave.)

No matter how you approach your health problem, the decisions and challenges are all yours: Vitamins & supplements, prescription drugs or more natural, low cost means such as walking, warm water aerobics, stretching, yoga, meditation, essential oils, homeopathy, massage, acupuncture, chiropractic or a how-to-heal mechanism like Sacred Cellular Healing. (It’s goal is a longterm health solution that is truly designed for you. I know because I had your healing in mind when I created it!)

So, here’s hoping that today you’re making good, longterm choices that are positively impacting your health. I like to say, “Why wait? There’s no time like the present.”

Thanks, Cinda Crawford
