If you’re sick, when it comes to motivation and action, you may need a little (or a big) tune-up from time to time. That’s because…
FOR A LONG TIME
END UP WITH
A LOUSY ATTITUDE!
Okay… okay… I know I may have opened up a proverbial can of worms last week with Part 1, but I’m really hoping that it caused you to think a lot about this topic. It’s time for Part 2 and letting you in on the real truth about attitude.
It’s important to ask ourselves– what does attitude have to do with motivation or taking action? As it turns out, attitude has a direct bearing on your motivation and what action(s) you decide to take.
So, whether we human beings are sick or well with Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or some other illness, we’re better off when…
You are better off when “the thing” that you desire seems to come from a deep, urgent place within you, when you are inspired to take action (even if it takes a lot of courage to take that action!) -and- when your desire is closely aligned with the planning, work, struggle, and the amount of time and energy that you’re willing to put into it. Truthfully, getting well is an investment of you in you. It is a telling indication of when you’re dedicated to a purpose. Now, is this beginning to make sense? Are you getting it?
If you do all of the “right” things and you enjoy being healthy, the results make you feel good about yourself. There’s a real sense of hope and accomplishment.
However if you’re sick, there is this immediate sense of failure. You feel lousy and seem to do all the “wrong” things, nine times out of ten. You have trouble accomplishing our goals (sometimes to the extent that you can’t even see your goals clearly). That makes the results disappointing and not the outcome you wanted at all!
On this Sunday, your job is to recognize the state of your attitude and change it, if it’s negative. Having and maintaining a positive attitude -and- planning and preparing for having a healthier body, mind and spirit will lead you closer to attaining your goals.
There’s a big part of me that believes that at the heart of every person who suffers with a chronic illness, they ‘expect’ and ‘wait’ for the return of their good health. After all, under normal circumstances when we’re sick, we get better and we eventually heal, correct?
And, whether you can easily admit it or not, on those days when you’re feeling horrible and in a frightfully, foul or depressed mood, you know that you want to be healthy and feel good. You want to feel well again. You want your life back!
Dear One…, just for a moment, you have my absolute permission to drift off into dreamland and close your eyes. (Assuming you’re not driving or operating heavy machinery.) Breathe deeply. Relax. Let your past, bad health days fade away. Take the time to gently remind yourself:
- 1) How important it is in life to be patient and wait for God to show up and reveal what you must know about yourself and what you need to do to be healthy;
- 2) And how crucial it is for you to seek His will in the healing process.
May these two goals go hand in hand and work together for your good.
I’ve done that at a major level several times in my life, but the most recent one was when I asked God to give me the capability of helping other people feel better. He had provided the means to heal me and I knew how wonderful that would be for others… other people like you. He did this by granting me the gift of the Sacred Cellular Healing Protocol!
It didn’t happen overnight. In fact it was a long and difficult process to develop all of the elements of this healing tool, but finally my dream is coming to full fruition thanks to God’s mercy, grace and favor.
The bounty of love and gratitude that I feel is only surpassed by the end result that I pray for: hundreds and thousands of people getting their lives back again! That dream motivates me and leads me to take bold action.

Because you and I are human and our baser nature screams for its needs to be met in a quick and easy fix, it’s easy to lose focus and get sidetracked when the results are not immediate. Let’s face it… when that happens our ability to take action may not be readily there because our motivation and attitude have taken a slap in the face.
But if you can keep the right attitude- one of openness to healing and acceptance of God’s will- and if the situation presents itself- like one of learning and understanding new ways that might promote your healing- then it’s time for you to add up all of the pluses and minuses and see what’s really staring you right in the face.
Life’s answers may not come quickly or easily at times, but they’re often more accessible than you realize. Today the answer to your health problems with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome may be yours for the taking if you really listen and adopt a “can do” attitude.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this 2-part series about attitude, motivation and action. Thanks so much for joining me on Sunday Sharing. May your day be glorious!
