Stress: The “Root” of All Evil

This week I blogged about “Stress: the Route of All Evil.” Looking back on my mistake in spelling is really interesting and pretty darned funny.

Of course, I meant to spell route as r-o-o-t, however what I put out is worth talking about for a moment.

It you’re trying to understand the way you get to those painful and compromising places in life, e.g. the route, and you also need to understand the underlying problem, e.g. the root or the cause, then maybe my slip up was quite fortuitious. (How about that big word? :-) )

As you think about your emotional and stress-filled holidays that passed recently, resolve to be better prepared for the next ones so that you can come through them in better shape, better prepared.

Catch the Health Matters Show tomorrow where I’ll wrap up this week’s discussion. Be sure to send in your comments and thoughts. They are always welcomed.

Thanks and see you tomorrow at 3 pm EST,
Cinda Crawford, host of the Health Matters Show where we talk about the issues of how to get well from Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Hi Cinda,

I love how your semi spelling mistake brought forth another (needed) topic on the chronic fatigue journey.

It’s really been all about the journey, in my life with CFS. I have always tried to concentrate on what was happening in the moment (at least in the early stages). When I had lived with CFS for awhile, I was able to look ahead a few days at a time.

On my road map I found a lot of things that worked and didn’t work for me. The things that didn’t work were just as important to take note in my recovery, as the things that did.

While I am living a recovered life – I have never forgotten what CFS has taught me. The most important being do what works for you. Just like how everyone has to live their life their own way – a recovery works exactly the same way.

You provide a wonderful service- keep up the good work :)

I will be visiting, whenever I feel the need for a little help.

Laura

Laura, thanks so much for your input. Yes, the journey is different for all of us. So many people have not heard that healing is possible. Through you… through me… hopefully so many will get the message and begin to find “their” path to healing.

I hope you visit often!
