84079490Last week we began to delve into a subject category that I’m wrapping up today. Critical Points to Remember if you want to Get Well from Fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

But before I give you the rest of these critical points, I challenge you to decide if you really want this information… if you really, really, really want to get well.

That may seem like a no-brainer question, but not so. Some people are stuck in chronic illness and can’t envision living life any other way. Yes, they claim the illness and they feel miserable, but they cannot imagine changing their perspective away from being a sick person. So…they don’t. Somehow being sick becomes safer than reaching out. Fear of the unknown paralyzes them.

But good news for those of you who are rebels. If your answer is YES you want to get well and you’re not going to rest until you do, then resolve to investigate every scrap of new information that comes your way and look at each piece with new eyes. Hear with new ears. See what’s in front of you. Hear what’s really being said.

Become your own inquisitive child who simply must know about everything in her exciting world. Then… ask the question anew… exactly what have you been missing?

I am certain that this time around you want victory. You want every itty bitty bit of progress that you can get your hands on and this time you want it to stick. You’re tired of being sick, you want to feel better and you need to figure out what it’s going to take to get there!

Decide:

  1. How you feel (What is your attitude about getting well?)
  2. How you will approach studying and learning more (What sources supply meaningful information and services? Which authorities are helping people get well?) -and-
  3. What you will do differently from today forward. (What are you willing to do so that your future looks differently and turns out better than your past?) The possibility of your healing rests squarely in your hands at this moment. Don’t let it slip past!

Hint: If the old stuff that you knew and used already was going to work, it would have done so! You need new ideas and how-to-heal methods.

Why is this critical right now? Because it’s now more possible than ever to gain the upperhand on these illnesses. I speak the truth because…

I did it and scores of other people are being victorious over Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, too.

If you’re going to be successful and no longer look at yourself as someone with Fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, then you must change your perspective and your approach.

In the coming weeks, I will have new and great information to show you. Truly, this is the most exciting time to be sick! Just a little off-beat humor today, but I hope you can understand where I’m coming from.

The majority of people with these illness can get well. Since we easily number up to 10 million strong (or er-r weak,) that is at least 5 million of us who can regain our lives. No incapacitating fatigue, no pain on a scale of 10 and no being tied to strong prescription drugs the rest of our lives!

Okay. I know you’re excited, but the first thing to do today is to change how you think. No one can do that for you. Dear one, you are responsible for what goes on between your own ears.

  • You are likely will get farther ahead faster by checking out many routes to healing, not using just one tool or method
  • You have to do whatever it takes to strengthen your body, mind and spirit (and that may mean taking a step of faith and trying something different)
  • You must strive to improve your body’s total functionality or it may continue to go downhill.
  • You must discover new ways to truly heal and begin enjoying good health.
  • You must aim to get so healthy that you virtually stay well indefinitely. Wow!
  • You must believe in the credible possibilities of holistic (whole body/ natural) healing. God designed your body to be able to heal itself and it can.
  •

Yes, certainly, real healing may be in your future!

Okay, enough talk for now. Because I’ve been where you are, I know where you’d rather be… healthy and enjoying life again!

Thanks for stopping by the Health Matters Show blog and podcast. Come back often because we share the vital information that you want and need to get well.
