When I conduct interviews with experts on the subjects of Fibromyalgia and CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), I’m on the lookout for professionals who are really in-the-know people. Ones who are passionate about helping those who are sick and, especially, I want people who have extraordinary skills and knowledge to offer.
I have found such an interview guest in Dr. Deirdre Rawlings and she will be on the Health Matters Show with us on Friday. I invite you to mark your calendar and plan to attend.
If you must miss it, the podcast will remain available on the website. The Health Matters Show is available every Friday afternoon 3 pm EDT. They are also available in i-Tunes. (You can sign up on i-Tunes to the right if you want the Health Matters Show delivered to your account automatically.)
ALSO…, there will be an extended version of this interview and you will want to sign up on my teleseminar list to receive the notice about it. (If you’re already on the list, you don’t have to sign up again. If you’re new to the term ‘teleseminar’ and want to know more, see my previous post. This particular teleseminar will be pre-recorded for you and the only thing you need to access it is your computer.)
Each person on my list will receive an email of where to go for everything that “Dr. Dee” and I discuss! She really provided us with a lot of information. You don’t want to miss a moment of it.
(The sign up box to receive teleseminar information is on the right side of the blog. It’s marked “Teleseminar Info.” Whether you can attend this as a “live event” the moment it’s offered or not, go ahead and register anyway. Each person registered on the list will get access to all of the audio files. If more info is needed from you concerning a different event, I’ll send that to you, too.)
I find it interesting and amazingly common when talking with someone like Deirdre Rawlings that the subjects of Fibromyalgia and CFS are specific, yet broad; to the point, yet needing to be covered in depth. Maybe that’s because both of these illnesses are so complicated, not well understood by the general medical profession, challenging to diagnose and downright tough to treat. Plus there are no lab tests, x-rays or other physical tests to point the way toward conclusive answers.
On the Health Matters Show Friday podcast, Dr. Rawlings and I will talk about:
- The differences between regular medicine and a naturopathic approach. “Dr. Dee” (she gave me permission to call her that) bridges this gap of knowledge between the two styles of medicine for us nicely. She feels comfortable working between her patients and other doctors.
- Some of the causes and triggers that exacerbate Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. *I was pleasingly surprised at all of the information she shared. She is happy to see CFS patients also.
Later on with the extended, teleseminar presentation, you’ll hear more about:
- How treatable and beatable is Fibromyalgia? What approaches work or don’t work for conditions like Chronic Fatigue Syndrome?
- What is her exact process that helps people heal? She takes us through much of it!
- How important is attitude, lifestyle, food and nutrition in the healing process? Now, Dr. Dee gives us a lot to think about, but the answer to that question is… they are critical!
- What is the role of diet and stress in these illnesses?
And so much more.
Today, I encourage you to take action right now to get on my telseminar list. Nothing would make me happier than to send you all the information when it’s available.
When Mardy Ross, the other wonderful professionals and I began to plan these special events to commemorate May 12th, Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Awareness Day, a term was bantered about and it was ‘collaborative awareness campaign.’ I think that’s neat. Many people banding together to do what they can to increase awareness. Please support each of our efforts in bringing you these events.
And know that we are all really excited about celebrating May 12th. When you show up here Friday at the Health Matters Show, you’ll get your first installment of several from me. I appreciate you being here.
