With it being the holiday season and with you being stressed and tired because of not feeling well (with Fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), what does it mean for you to have courage? And what does courage have to do with being sick? Are we talking about being courageous in your daily health battle?
Maybe so. When you have courage to face your personal health crisis, something surfaces… something rises closer to the surface. There are the symptoms of the constant strain of being so tired (fatigued), the never-ending thus ongoing chronic pain and so much more. And certainly there’a a degree of fear and dread, if you’re being honest with yourself.
What is the difference between courage and faith– and how does it come into play here?
And whoever is happy will make others happy, too. People who have courage and faith will never perish in misery! –from Anne Frank (March 7, 1944)
This day as you grapple with the very personal issues of how brave you are and how your faith supports you, I urge you to reach out in love, courage and faith to people you know who need to hear something positive.
Be there for others. They likely will be there for you when you need them in your own Fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome health crisis. Sooner or later we’re all stressed and challenged AND we need other people.
