in Getting Well, Health Matters Shows

being_healthy_for_busy_people_logoThe whole title of the Health Matters Show today is When Busy Lives Get Interrupted by Chronic Illness. And on the show Cinda Crawford interviews a great guest, Talli van Sunder, DPT. (Earlier this week we told you this show would be fantastic and we meant it!)

Dr. van Sunder owned her own physical therapy clinic, In Stride Physical Therapy. She does more than that, but of special interest to my audience is her fantastic weekly podcast, Being Healthy for Busy People.

The first time I heard Talli’s show, I knew that she could tell us a lot about how to be healthy using physical therapy techniques and movement… even if we suffer with chronic illnesses like Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and more. Please click on the audio button below and listen to everything Talli has to tell us about how being active is so very important to getting well and staying healthy!

(Audio 19 minutes 30 seconds.)

During the interview Talli answers these questions and more:

  1. Do busy, active people ever suffer with chronic illnesses like Fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and find life to be difficult?
  2. What types of therapies and remedies does she suggest to feel better?
  3. If and when her clients master those, what would be next?
  4. What does being physically active do for people? Is there more than just muscle tone and agility?
  5. How do people start to come back from illness? And does she have any other suggestions?

Be sure to catch the entire edition of the Health Matters Show!
